At Parallel Wines, Success Is A Community Affair

NAPA VALLEY, CA AND PARK CITY, UT, FEBRUARY 15, 2007 - When the partners of Parallel Wines came together with the goal of creating one of the top Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons, it was not their only vision. Running a very close second was the ability to parlay their wine and its success to support the communities and charities that make up the unique character of their 'parallel' hometowns of Park City and Napa Valley. With their first two limited production wines released to enthusiastic acclaim, the partners of Parallel have been able to achieve both of their goals in an incredibly short time. In the past two years, Parallel has helped raise $120,000 in funds for more than twenty charities through the donation of their wines and one of a kind auction trips to the Parallel Vineyard Estate in Napa Valley and to native Park City.

"We had certainly hoped for but never expected to be able to reach out and help so many organizations this early in the life of Parallel Wine," shared Parallel Partner, Mac MacQuoid. "We're proud to offer a great wine that our friends, family and the public enjoys, but are even more excited that Parallel has already been able to bring such great rewards to our non-profit partners."

The assortment of non-profits which Parallel has chosen to support reflects the varied interests of the partners and their dedication to encouraging well-rounded communities in which they live and work. The environment and education, history and medical research, the arts and agriculture, culinary arts and winemaking, skiing and outdoor education, children and families in need, among others, have all benefited from the contribution of Parallel Wines. To date, Parallel has participated in events related to Just Imagine (Napa), the US Ski and Snowboard Team Foundation (USSA), Make a Wish, Ronald MacDonald House, North American Diabetes Foundation, Utah Museum of Natural History, Sun Valley and Jackson Hole Wine Auctions, to name a few.
