Winemaker Philippe Melka's Tasting Notes:

"This wine is explosive on the nose with wild berries, chocolate, cookie dough, and dark cherries. Once on the pallet the wine is dense, fleshy and powerful with a great concentration. The mid palate is showing powerful tannins and finishing with notes of sage and cloves. There is a lasting finish of crushed rocks and blueberries. The wine is showing very well right now has a great aging potential."

This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon is so rich and decadent, with milk chocolate, blackberry and new French oak flavors. Made by celebrity winemaker Philippe Melka, it’s soft and approachable on the palate and widely appealing. Your best bet is to drink up now.  — S.H.  2/1/2014

92 Points - Connoisseur's Guide to California Wine

Striking in combination of fruity richness and range of loamy, black-olive and creamy oak extras, the Fortune Teller is a multi-faceted look at Cabernet that is at once accessible and yet holds a great deal in reserve.  It hints at dark chocolate without being unduly ripe and buffers its nominal tannins with fruit to spare, and, while its evident impressions of winemaking polish lend it a certain immediate appeal, it is a fairly serious and eminently age worthy wine that fully deserves to be held for no fewer than another five or six years.  April 2014

Brimming with pure, ripe, snappy red berry and blackberry flavors that run firm and deep, this gains depth and traction, ending with a mix of licorice, roasted herb and savory underbrush notes. Drink now through 2022. 250 cases made. –JL  Oct 31, 2014
