Winemaker Philippe Melka's Tasting Notes
"The 2014 Paradise Cabernet Sauvignon has a striking, deep garnet hue and a bouquet of vanilla, cardamom, berry cobbler and smoke box. The beautifully balanced acid gives this wine a bright, fresh palate with layered notes of spice and blackberry compote. Sit with this one and let the luscious, long-lasting tannins develop."

"Opaque ruby in the glass. After 10 years in the bottle, this wine remains impressively compact, with firm, taut, and powerful tannins, not revealing much just yet. It needs time for the savoury-smoky minerals and mineral-intense tannins to soften, allowing the dark berry fruit to take centre stage. At present, it’s mostly tannins and dried herb character. However, I believe it harbours enough freshness to eventually come around—patience is key."
