Stephen Gage, General Manager

Stephen Gage is a respected wine professional with a rich history in the Napa Valley wine industry, known for innovative approaches to hospitality, sales, and direct-to-consumer engagement. With over two decades of experience, Stephen has built a career centered on creating meaningful wine experiences that connect people, place, and craftsmanship.

He is the Owner of Vingaged, LLC, where he produces Crossword Wines and Horticulturalist Wines, and worked as a freelance hospitality and Direct-to-Consumer specialist. Through Vingaged, Stephen curated wine and food tastings, advised wineries on customer experience strategy, and always championed conviviality as a cornerstone of great hospitality.

Previously, Stephen served as Director of Sales and Hospitality at Moone-Tsai Wines, where he led sales initiatives, hospitality programming, and private tasting experiences. Prior to that, he was Director of Hospitality at Mi Sueño Winery, further refining his expertise in guest experience and brand storytelling.

Early in his wine career, Stephen spent 14 formative years at Miner Family Vineyards as Director of Retail Sales, helping shape the winery’s direct sales and hospitality success over a pivotal period of growth.

Known for his warmth, deep industry knowledge, and thoughtful approach, Stephen continues to focus on elevating wine experiences—whether through production, hospitality, or the shared joy of gathering around the table.
