Thank you for your interest in Parallel Wines!

Current Release Vintages
The Parallel Napa Valley label captures the essence of the lines carved by skis on the first run of the day. The Founding Partners wanted their 40+ years of friendship and life in Park City to be reflected in the wine. The label has served to reflect the 27 years of friendship, planting, tending, harvesting and making wines with famed winemaker, Philippe Melka, and his Atelier Melka Team, from the parallel rows of vines floating across hillside vineyards in Napa Valley and the Sonoma Valley.
Parallel Napa Valley is not distributed, with the exception of a very limited quantity allocated to Utah, where the Founding Partners have called home for nearly five decades. Otherwise, you will not find our wines on retail shelves or restaurant lists — each bottle goes directly from us to the members and collectors who choose to pour it at their own tables and include us in their cellars. We are deeply grateful to them for allowing us to pursue our passion for Napa Valley, Park City, and philanthropy across the country. Production is limited — every vintage is just 100 to 300 cases. We would be honored to welcome you to the family — you may join us through the Current Release Vintages available below.

Winemaker Philippe Melka's Tasting Notes
"The 2024 Chardonnay opens with an elegant aromatic lift of white flowers—jasmine and orange blossom—woven with bright citrus tones of fresh lemon peel and Meyer lemon. On the palate, it’s precise and energetic, driven by vibrant acidity that gives the wine a crystalline edge. Layers of green apple, ripe pear, and a hint of nectarine unfold, balanced by a subtle creaminess."
This is a limited release, with just 3 bottles available per allocation.

Winemaker Philippe Melka's Tasting Notes
"An extremely seductive and inviting nose reveals exciting aromas of chocolate, dried herbs, and an abundance of alluring spices. On the palate, the wine is lush and textural, yet impeccably balanced, finishing with a beautiful interplay of ripe berries, mentholated herbs, and a perfectly judged level of complex, fine-grained tannins. A wine destined to age gracefully for decades."

"Parallel's 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Black Diamond Reserve Rendezvous convincingly demonstrates that this vintage shouldn't be overlooked. A barrel selection and blend from two cooler sites, the nose seamlessly marries cherry fruit with notes of dusty earth, vanilla and cedar. It's medium- to full-bodied, silky and ripe but nicely balanced and structured, with a long finish that carries echoes of crushed stone. Impressive."

In order to ensure the best experience with our wines, please store them in a cool, dark, dry place; Cabernets ideally at 55-60F and Chardonnays at 40-50F. When opening, these wines may require decanting, especially if they are vintages 2003-2011. Please allow 30-120 minutes of decanting before enoying (the older the wine the longer it may take).
