The Parallel Napa Valley label captures the essence of the lines carved by skis on the first run of the day. The Founding Partners wanted their 40+ years of friendship and life in Park City to be reflected in the wine. The label has served to reflect the 27 years of friendship, planting, tending, harvesting and making wines with famed winemaker, Philippe Melka, and his Atelier Melka Team, from the parallel rows of vines floating across hillside vineyards in Napa Valley and the Sonoma Valley.
This stunning Provençal-style Rosé, crafted with 100% Single Vineyard Grenache, is currently the ONLY Napa Valley Rosé being produced by our Principal Winemaker, Philippe Melka, and the Atelier Melka Winemaking Team.

Winemaker Philippe Melka's Tasting Notes
"The 2023 is a classic expression of a cooler season creating unique aromatics of marzipan, mint, bright pear, apricot and hint of white flowers on the 2023 Parallel Sonoma Valley Chardonnay. On the palate, great texture is blended with acidity and tension, flavors of white peach, mint, passion fruit and jasmine. The wine has great weight with layers of creamy butterscotch notes mixed with vanilla and light oak expression. The finish is long and lingering carried by the great acid and complexity. Enjoy now and over the next 10+ years."

"The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Black Diamond Reserve is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep garnet-purple colored, it comes barreling out with notes of crème de cassis, wild blueberries, and boysenberries, plus hints of menthol, crushed rocks, and underbrush. The medium to full-bodied palate delivers muscular black fruits with grainy tannins and bags of freshness to support, finishing long and savory."

In order to ensure the best experience with our wines, please store them in a cool, dark, dry place; Cabernets ideally at 55-60F and Chardonnays at 40-50F. When opening, these wines may require decanting, especially if they are vintages 2003-2011. Please allow 30-120 minutes of decanting before enoying (the older the wine the longer it may take).
