Winemaker Philippe Melka's Tasting Notes
"The 2018 Parallel Cabernet has powerful aromatics imbued with a great deal of energy. Explosive aromas of holiday spices, cardamon, coffee bins and black currant. The palate is full-bodied, very refined with present tannins front to back giving the wine a very silky texture and layers of complexity. It shows dark plums, cranberries and cherries with a beautiful tension between red and black fruits, a savory note and excellent acidity making the finish super balanced and long. 2018 is a great vintage in Napa Valley and this wine is a great example already. The wine is drinking very well now and will improve over the next 10+ years."

"The 2018 Cabernet Sauivgon has a deep garnet-purple color and intense notes of crushed black currants, black cherries and mulberries with nuances of Baker's Chocolate, licorice, cedar chest and pencil with a waft of wild sage. The full-bodied palate offers a decadent array of black fruit and savory layers, supported by firm grainy tannins and plenty of freshness, finishing on a lingering mineral note. Drink Date 2022-2038."

"Aromas of blackcurrants, coffee, dried herbs and lavender. It’s medium-bodied and flavorful with firm, fine-grained tannins. Better from 2022."
