This is the inaugural vertical of the NEW Parallel Library Chardonnay Collection — a program built on the belief that great Chardonnay deserves the same patience we give to great Cabernet Sauvignon.

Each year, Winemaker Philippe Melka and the Atelier Melka Team set their sights on the same goal for our Parallel Chardonnay — Burgundian-style of pure precision — whole cluster pressed, aged sur lie in French oak, never touched by malolactic fermentation. Three vintages. Three expressions of a single, unwavering philosophy.

The 2022 opens with lemon blossom and orange zest, all bright acid and minerality, a wine of clarity and lift. The 2023, born of a cooler season, turns inward — marzipan, white peach, jasmine, and a long, lingering finish that rewards every extra minute in the glass. The 2024 TBD.
