Thank you for your interest in Parallel Wines!
Private Cellar Acccess
The Parallel Napa Valley label captures the essence of the lines carved by skis on the first run of the day. The Founding Partners wanted their 40+ years of friendship and life in Park City to be reflected in the wine. The label has served to reflect the 27 years of friendship, planting, tending, harvesting and making wines with famed winemaker, Philippe Melka, and his Atelier Melka Team, from the parallel rows of vines floating across hillside vineyards in Napa Valley and the Sonoma Valley.
Parallel Napa Valley is not distributed, with the exception of a very limited quantity allocated to Utah, where the Founding Partners have called home for nearly five decades. Otherwise, you will not find our wines on retail shelves or restaurant lists — each bottle goes directly from us to the members and collectors who choose to pour it at their own tables and include us in their cellars. We are deeply grateful to them for allowing us to pursue our passion for Napa Valley, Park City, and philanthropy across the country. Production is limited — every vintage is just 100 to 300 cases. We would be honored to welcome you to the family — you may join us through the Current Release Vintages available below.

Winemaker Philippe Melka's Tasting Notes
"The 2014 Paradise Cabernet Sauvignon has a striking, deep garnet hue and a bouquet of vanilla, cardamom, berry cobbler and smoke box. The beautifully balanced acid gives this wine a bright, fresh palate with layered notes of spice and blackberry compote. Sit with this one and let the luscious, long-lasting tannins develop."

The beautifully balanced acid gives this wine a bright, fresh palate with notes of cherry and pomegranate. As this wine opens it reveals layers of eucalyptus, clove, orange zest and cedar. The tannins are lengthy but not overpowering."

Winemaker Philippe Melka's Tasting Notes
“This is a deep ruby hued, beauty of a Cab. It has a rich, earthy nose of eucalyptus, pencil shavings, violets and ripe blackberry. On the palate you'll notice a perfect balance between great acidity and chewy tannins complimented by dark berry notes and a slight smokiness. The Black Diamond unveils it's complex layers as it opens in the glass. Stunning!”

In order to ensure the best experience with our wines, please store them in a cool, dark, dry place; Cabernets ideally at 55-60F and Chardonnays at 40-50F. When opening, these wines may require decanting, especially if they are vintages 2003-2011. Please allow 30-120 minutes of decanting before enoying (the older the wine the longer it may take).
